  3. Rajeewa, are these six types equally important? I have a feeling that Coercive type of management is outdated and rarely used in modern management. But it may be required in blue collar work force management compared to white collar team management. Can you please clarify?

  4. As you said Coercive type used more in blue collar work force management. Such as Estate labour management, Cleaning service work force, Security companies...etc. Coercive type is the ideal style for those who have not educated and those who grow up in under privileged societies like shanties...This is not always the case but if we observed properly still we can note quit big numbers are from those under privilege areas.

    This is quit difference when you apply this style to a country leadership. Specially for developing countries, most suitable leadership style is Coercive type. Example Singapore and Malaysia both developed under Coercive type leadership.
